Musical Arts Scholarship Auditions

11/10/24 2:30 PM - 11/10/24 03:30 PM
Location: Cowles Center

First-year and transfer students of all majors who are interested in participating in choir, drumline, or band, may audition to be considered for a Musical Arts or Drumline Scholarship ranging from $500 – $4,000. Auditions will take place in the Cowles Center at 1330 Morton Avenue with Dr. Joshua Boggs.

Prior to the meeting, we ask that you prepare to:

  • Vocalists - warm-up with our director, and (optionally) sing one solo selection
  • Drumline - be prepared to learn a short exercise or (optionally) play a prepared solo
  • Instrumentalists and pianists - play one solo selection

We will provide the accompanist for you - just don't forget the piano accompaniment on the day of the audition. For questions or additional information, please contact Dr. Joshua Boggs, Director of Musical Arts, at jboggs @ grandview.edu.
