Language Support

Grand View University offers English language support to help international students succeed in the classroom and in daily interactions by developing their English.

These courses count towards academic credit and Grand View's composition requirement. Coursework focuses on:

• Listening
• Speaking
• Reading comprehension
• Written communication
• Language use

In addition, courses include conversations discussing American university and discipline-specific expectations.

Short-term Programs

Grand View offers special programs for sponsored groups. Session length and dates can be set to meet each group's needs.

Each program has a tailored curriculum and orientation program. Field trips, cultural enrichment activities, housing arrangements, transportation, and counseling services are included with each program.
