Grand View Student Recognized as Distinguished Attendee at CFA Society Iowa’s 60th Anniversary Dinner

On April 24, 2025, Dash Kelley, Assistant Professor of Finance at Grand View University, and Alexandra Philavanh, Business Major: Finance & Marketing, participated in the CFA Society Iowa's 60th Anniversary Annual Dinner held at Vibrant Music Hall in Waukee, Iowa.

The event featured a keynote address by Dr. Daniel Crosby, a psychologist and behavioral finance expert, who presented "The Soul of Wealth." His talk explored the relationship between wealth and meaning, emphasizing that true prosperity transcends numbers and is rooted in purpose and well-being.

Alexandra Philavanh was among the distinguished nominated student attendees recognized for their involvement and commitment to the finance profession.
