Calling All Viking Cyclists

New Grand View bike tank tops in men’s and women’s styles and socks are now for sale! Pricing includes free shipping to campus for pick up OR pay a little extra to ship direct to an address of your choice. Mark your calendars for a Viking meet up at Captain Roy’s when RAGBRAI rolls through Des Moines on Wednesday, July 26. More information to come. If you’d like to host a RAGBRAI training ride or GV meet up during RAGBRAI, contact alumni@grandview.edu.

Save the date for Grand View’s annual Bike Ride at Firetrucker Brewery on May 25. Join fellow Grand View alumni and friends for a fun bike ride on the High Trestle Trail in Ankeny before looping back for pizza at Firetrucker Brewery. Strollers and kid bikes are welcome on this family-friendly event. Groups and individuals can choose how far and long they will ride on this self-guided night.

Don't have a bike? No worries...come hang out anyway! Adult registration is $10, kids ages 12 and under are $7. All registrations include pizza and a drink ticket (soda or beer). All ages and abilities are welcome.
