Dr. Lourdes Araujo Receives Traumatic Stress and Resilience Counselor Advocate Award

Dr. Lourdes Araujo, Assistant Professor of Counselor Education at Grand View, has been nominated and selected as the recipient of the Traumatic Stress and Resilience Counselor Advocate Award from the International Association for Resilience and Trauma Counseling. 

This award goes to a professional who is a tireless advocate for those affected by traumatic stress, and who stays current on research, participates in mentoring, and has developed collaborative relationships within their local crisis and traumatic stress community.

An awards ceremony will held on Thursday, March 30 during the American Counseling Association’s Annual Conference and Expo in Toronto, Canada.
