Grand View Theatre Students Attend Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival

Grand View Theatre Arts students participated in Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival, Region V, and brought home awards and commendations for their work!
Student work in The Language Archive, by Julia Cho, was selected for performance in the Invited Scene Showcase at the Festival. Katy Crowley, Dawson Craig, David Korkow and Kiera Jors presented a scene from the play to a sold-out crowd at the Temple Theatre downtown.
The Language Archive and Treasure Island also garnered many accolades at Festival 56!

- Achievement in Costume Design: Ella Miner and Lori Glawe
- Achievement in Scene Shifts: The Language Archive Stage Crew Team
- Achievement in Stage Management: Vic Yoder
- Achievement in Sound Design: Zach Cue
Treasure Island:
- Achievement in Hair and Makeup Design, Kiera Jors
Dawson Craig, Senior Theatre Arts Major and his acting partner, Kiera Jors, made it to the semi-final round in the Irene Ryan Scholarship Competition.
