Grand View University to Host 2023 Mayoral Forum

Grand View University is hosting a public forum with the 2023 candidates for Des Moines Mayor on Wednesday, September 20, at 7 p.m. in the Speed Lyceum – Henning Student Center, 2811 E. 14th Street, Des Moines, IA. The The candidates include Connie Boesen, Josh Mandelbaum and Denver Foote.

The forum will have a focus on education, but other topics will also be addressed. The forum will provide an opportunity for Grand View students, faculty, staff and the general public to ask the candidates about important issues affecting the community. Questions can be submitted ahead of time via the Grand View website. The forum will be moderated by Dr. Ryan Anderson, professor of business administration. There will also be a short period of time for open audience questions the end.

This event will provide an opportunity to hear different perspectives on a variety of topics that are important to the future of Des Moines.”
