LB Lyons '08 Selected for Young Advisory Council at UnityPoint Health

LB Lyons ‘08, Director of Alumni Relations at Grand View, has been selected to join the Young Advisory Council at UnityPoint Health. 

The council was started in 2017 as a way to engage one of the largest age populations in Iowa, ages 22-40. The council works to engage professionals in Central Iowa about their perspectives of growing community needs, foster community engagement, and serve as brand ambassadors. The council is made up of 10-15 individuals and meets bi-monthly at UnityPoint for 2 hours. The board also serves as a recruitment source for other UPH boards as a way to effect age diversity on those boards.

LB is looking forward to the opportunity, "I am very excited to serve on the council, learn more in-depth about local healthcare initiatives, represent Grand View to one of the largest employers and community leaders, and to grow my network."
