Mattes Published in Lutheran Synod Quarterly

Rev. Dr. Mark Mattes, Chair of the Theology and Philosophy Department at Grand View, recently had an article “The Care of Souls in the Lutheran Reformation” published in the Lutheran Synod Quarterly (March 2023). He also contributed two chapters to the book “Lutheran Preaching?: Law and Gospel Proclamation Today,” published by Concordia Publishing House.

In addition, Mattes contributed annotations, commentary, and an introduction to Luther’s Large Catechism: Annotated Edition, published by Concordia Publishing House.
