Steve DeVenney '84 Elected to Grand View University Board of Trustees

Steve DeVenney '84 has joined the Grand View University Board of Trustees. Steve is the Branch Manager and Senior Vice President for Investments at Raymond James & Associates.

Steve has spent his more than 23-year financial services career helping his clients realize their financial goals through individualized planning, professional advice and dedicated personal service. Prior to joining Raymond James in 2003, Steve served as an associate vice president, investments, with Piper Jaffray in West Des Moines for nine years. Steve worked in the Investment and Securities division at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines from 1986 until 1994. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Grand View University in 1984.

Originally from Marshalltown, Steve makes his home in Johnston with his wife, Tracy. They have three adult children, with two grandchildren and one on the way. Steve enjoys spending time with family and volunteering as a youth basketball coach.
