Heidi has worked in higher education for 18 years. She has worked in admissions, alumni relations, church relations and most recently student life. She lives in Grimes with her husband, two sons, and two dogs. In her free time she enjoys reading, watching her boys in their activities, running, doing yoga and spending time with her family.

What makes Grand View unique among other universities?
Our students! We have so much diversity on our campus and we get to work with many first generation college students as well as our non traditional population. We also serve a high number of transfer students.
What is your favorite part about working at Grand View?
I love working with the students and seeing them grow in their time at Grand View. It is so fun to watch them get involved in something outside the classroom and realize that they have a passion for that area and sometimes that causes them to think about the path they are taking and what their true calling in life is!
