Corinna King Awarded Presidents’ Civic Engagement Leadership Award

Corinna King, Director of Planning & Strategy for the President, was awarded a Presidents’ Civic Engagement Leadership Award by the Iowa/Minnesota Campus Compact (now Seed Coalition) at its annual awards ceremony on Friday, April 19 at Macalester College in St. Paul.

Corinna was recognized for her leadership hosting civic and educational events including Vice President Kamala Harris and CNN and NewsNation presidential town halls. She also organized local candidate events including a forum for Des Moines Mayor and one for City Council Ward 2. In addition, she organized a coffee with Iowa legislators and GV students so they could share their stories about the impact that the Iowa Tuition Grant has on their ability to attend college.
