Grand View University is proud to share that President Dr. Rachelle Keck recently participated in the 2025 Spring Board and Committee Meetings of the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities (NAICU), held in Philadelphia, PA.
Dr. Keck was featured as a panelist in a key session titled “What Matters Most: Navigating the Current Moment,” where higher education leaders from across the country discussed the most pressing challenges and opportunities facing independent colleges and universities today. The panel focused on strategies for institutional resilience, innovation in the face of change, and the evolving expectations of students and communities.
“It was an honor to contribute to such a timely and meaningful discussion alongside colleagues who are deeply invested in the future of independent higher education,” said Dr. Keck. “The challenges we face are complex, but they are also opportunities to lead with purpose, creativity, and collaboration.”
NAICU represents more than 1,000 private, nonprofit colleges and universities nationwide, and its board meetings serve as a vital forum for institutional leaders to shape policy priorities, share best practices, and advocate for the value of independent higher education.
