The 2025 Great Iowa Nurses list has officially been released, and Grand View University is proud to celebrate the achievements of four outstanding alumni who have been recognized for their exceptional contributions to the nursing profession. These dedicated healthcare professionals were selected for their leadership, innovation, and commitment to providing excellent care in their communities.

Cami (Peterson ’96) Wright – UnityPoint Health DSM
With nearly three decades of experience in the nursing field, Cami Wright has made a lasting impact at UnityPoint Health in Des Moines.

Courtney (Casper ’10) Heid – University of Iowa Health Care
Courtney Heid has established herself as an exceptional nurse at the University of Iowa Health Care, where her clinical expertise and commitment to patient-centered care shine through every day. 

Kaylynn (Kessler ’22) Wyckoff – Polk County Jail
Working at the Polk County Jail, Kaylynn provides essential healthcare services in a challenging environment, demonstrating incredible resilience and compassion.

Terry (Hodges ’06) Neal – UnityPoint Health DSM
